Within two previous Erasmus+ MEDIActive Youth projects capacities of 22 youth NGOs from Europe and Latin America have been raised, a Transnational Youth Magazine (TYM) has been launched, website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediactiveyouth.net\/\">www.mediactiveyouth.net<\/a> and multilingual online courses have been created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall objective of this two-years project called \u201dTranscontinental MEDIActive Youth: Africa on Board\u201d is to continue with building capacities of youth NGOs globally and developing open education resources (OER) in the field of media literacy. Particular attention is given here to the African continent, and this project will enable it to also join the transcontinental initiative of improving media literacy launched through the previous projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1: Increasing the capacity of youth NGOs\/workers\/activists from 7 countries from Europe and Africa in the field of media literacy and media activism, and fostering their active participation in society<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2: Creating high-quality multilingual OER for an innovative blended learning on media literacy and activism:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Teaching material pack \u201dMedia Literacy Education by the Blended Learning Method\u201d (training course curriculum, educational materials and guidelines)<\/li><li>Moodle course \u201dMedia Literacy Education by the Blended Learning Method\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Creating an informational\/media hub between Europe, Africa and Latin America in the field of youth policy through further improving the TYM \u2013 new authors, themes and articles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project consortium consists of 7 youth organizations from Europe and Africa, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>EUROMED EVE Maroc<\/li><li>EUROMED EVE Tunisia<\/li><li>Better World Foundation \u2013 Egypt<\/li><li>Association Educative et Culturelle Arc en Ciel \u2013 Algeria<\/li><li>Eesti People to People \u2013 Estonia<\/li><li>Center for Intercultural Dialogue \u2013 North Macedonia<\/li><li>Centar za drustveno ekonomski razvoj \u2013 Serbia (project leader)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has a duration of 24 months.
