Uniting Communities Through “Born 2 Run” in Kumanovo

On the 11th of November, the Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) proudly organized the 6th edition of the ‘Born 2 Run Race’ in Kumanovo. This highly anticipated event, featuring both a 3km and a 10km race, marked a celebration of unity, resilience, and community engagement.

With an impressive turnout of approximately 200 participants, this year’s ‘Born 2 Run Race’ witnessed an enthusiastic display of athleticism and camaraderie. Notably, the event welcomed special guests from ‘Poraka Nasha’ in Kumanovo, emphasizing the inclusivity and diversity that the race embodies.

The primary objective of the ‘Born 2 Run Race’ extends far beyond the athletic competition; it serves as a beacon for bringing together ethnically divided communities within the city. Through the universal language of sports, this event champions the promotion of mutual understanding, cooperation, and trust among individuals from diverse backgrounds.
